Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How we help

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

What to ask

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Between shop visits

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Botha is outside the area we serve. We do not deliver as far as Botha, about 585 km from our location in Toronto.

If we do not know a shop in Botha, we say so rather than guess. We know shops around Toronto best; for Botha, we say plainly what we can do. Unsure? Send a request about Botha, and we answer plainly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
