Emissions Test in Britton, TX

Arranging the work in Britton

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Britton. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

From request to repair

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Small things that help

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

What to ask

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
