Emissions Test in Brooktrails, CA

Emissions Test for Brooktrails

Emissions Test in Brooktrails: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Small things that help

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

A short checklist

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
