Emissions Test in Canoas, Michoacan

Arranging the work in Canoas

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Canoas is about 3,436 km away. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Talking to the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Between shop visits

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
