Emissions Test in Capula, State of Mexico

Getting it done

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,374 km from Capula, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What CarmaCars does here

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Car care, briefly

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

Talking to the shop

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.

Renting from Toronto

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Capula. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Capula, about 3,374 km away, is beyond that.
