Emissions Test in Carson, NV

Arranging the work in Carson

For an emissions test in Carson, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Between shop visits

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
