Emissions Test in Cimic, IL

Getting it done

For an emissions test in Cimic, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How the arrangement works

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
