What CarmaCars does here

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Your request reaches a person, not a machine.

Car care, briefly

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
