Emissions Test in Competition, MO

Emissions Test: how we help

Emissions Test in Competition: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

A note on distance

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Competition. About 1,309 km separate our location in Toronto and Competition, far past our 250 km delivery area.

If we do not know a shop in Competition, we say so rather than guess. For work in Competition, ask in a request and we tell you honestly whether we know a shop there.
