Emissions Test in Conoley, TX

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Conoley is about 2,153 km away. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What to send us

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Questions to ask the shop

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Between shop visits

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
