Emissions Test in Corner Windmill, AZ

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Corner Windmill. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What we arrange

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Good habits for your car

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

What to ask

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
