Emissions Test in Covington, FL

Arranging the work in Covington

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Covington is about 1,553 km away. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Between shop visits

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

A short checklist

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
