Emissions Test in Dunn, CA

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Dunn is about 3,306 km away. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How we help

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

What to ask

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
