Emissions Test in Durham, CA

Getting it done

Emissions Test in Durham: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

From request to repair

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Questions to ask the shop

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Good habits for your car

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Before you plan

We are based in Toronto; Durham is not somewhere we have a location. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Durham is about 3,521 km out.

Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. If we do not know a shop in Durham, we say so rather than guess. If you still want to ask about Durham, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
