Emissions Test: how we help

For an emissions test in Faria, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What to send us

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Good habits for your car

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

A note on distance

Our only location is in Toronto; Faria is outside the area we serve. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Faria is roughly 3,582 km away.
