Emissions Test in Five Points, NJ

Getting it done

If you need an emissions test in Five Points: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Small things that help

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

A short checklist

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Where we deliver

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Five Points is outside our area. Five Points is about 598 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

We know shops around Toronto best; for Five Points, we say plainly what we can do. If we do not know a shop in Five Points, we say so rather than guess. Send a request about Five Points, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
