Emissions Test in Five Points, TN

Emissions Test: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,157 km from Five Points, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What we arrange

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Getting a clear quote

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
