Emissions Test in Flat Top, TX

Emissions Test: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Flat Top is about 2,163 km away. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Who does what

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

A short checklist

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.

Good habits for your car

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
