Emissions Test in Garton Development, DE

Emissions Test: how we help

We arrange an emissions test through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Garton Development. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How we help

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Between shop visits

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

What to ask

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
