Emissions Test in Georgetown, CA

Emissions Test: how we help

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Georgetown. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Talking to the shop

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Car care, briefly

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Our area

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Georgetown is outside our area. Georgetown is about 3,476 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.
