From request to repair

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. A person replies within one business day. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

Car care, briefly

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Before the shop starts

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
