Emissions Test in Hampton, KY

Arranging the work in Hampton

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Hampton. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What to send us

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Getting a clear quote

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
