Emissions Test in Hampton, NE

Emissions Test in Hampton

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Hampton is about 1,560 km away. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How we help

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Small things that help

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Talking to the shop

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
