Emissions Test in Hellier, KY

Emissions Test: how we help

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Hellier. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What CarmaCars does here

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Good habits for your car

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

Questions to ask the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
