Emissions Test in Hicks, MO

Emissions Test near Hicks

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Hicks. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

What to ask

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Car care, briefly

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
