Emissions Test in Ivanhoe, CA

Emissions Test for Ivanhoe

Emissions Test in Ivanhoe: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What CarmaCars does here

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Small things that help

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

Before the shop starts

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
