What CarmaCars does here

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Between shop visits

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
