Emissions Test in Juárez, Durango

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Juárez is about 2,992 km away. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What to send us

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

A short checklist

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Good habits for your car

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
