Emissions Test in Juncalito, Baja California Sur

Getting it done

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,507 km from Juncalito, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Who does what

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Small things that help

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
