Emissions Test in Junction, NY

Emissions Test in Junction

CarmaCars arranges an emissions test for drivers in Junction through trusted shops, and rents you a car meanwhile. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

No car? Rent one meanwhile

Choose a car that suits your week; delivery is priced in the offer. Keep commuting, shopping and visiting while your car is at the shop. Pickup at our location is always free.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
