Emissions Test in Junet, MI

Arranging the work in Junet

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 910 km from Junet, and does not do this work itself. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

From request to repair

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Good habits for your car

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
