Emissions Test in Kill Devil Hills, NC

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Kill Devil Hills. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

From request to repair

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Small things that help

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

What to ask

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
