Emissions Test in Lagunitas, CA

Emissions Test in Lagunitas

Emissions Test in Lagunitas: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

The steps

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Small things that help

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

Before the shop starts

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.

Our area

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Lagunitas is outside our area. By straight line Lagunitas is about 3,664 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.
