Emissions Test in Lang, CA

Emissions Test in Lang

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Lang is about 3,495 km away. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Who does what

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Talking to the shop

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Good habits for your car

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
