Emissions Test in Lapoint, UT

Arranging the work in Lapoint

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Lapoint. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Who does what

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Talking to the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.

Good habits for your car

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.

Honest about distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Lapoint. Lapoint lies about 2,532 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. If you want to check something for Lapoint, send a request; a person replies honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
