Emissions Test in Letona, AR

Emissions Test in Letona

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Letona is about 1,408 km away. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How the arrangement works

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Small things that help

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

Getting a clear quote

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
