Emissions Test in Maple View, NY

Emissions Test: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 254 km from Maple View, and does not do this work itself. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

From request to repair

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Car care, briefly

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Check that all lights work every few weeks.

Getting a clear quote

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
