Emissions Test in Maplehurst, NY

Getting it done

CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For an emissions test in Maplehurst, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We can deliver a rental car to you while yours is at the shop.

Your rental while you wait

When the shop is done, we collect the rental from you. Keep commuting, shopping and visiting while your car is at the shop. Skip the delivery fee by picking the car up from us.

Getting a clear quote

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Car care, briefly

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
