Emissions Test in Marcus, IL

Emissions Test for Marcus

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Marcus is about 906 km away. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What we arrange

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. A person replies within one business day. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Good habits for your car

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Before the shop starts

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
