Emissions Test in Mill Spring, TN

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Mill Spring is about 919 km away. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Car care, briefly

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

What to ask

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
