Emissions Test in Mina, CA

Emissions Test in Mina

Emissions Test in Mina: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. A person replies within one business day.

Questions to ask the shop

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Small things that help

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
