Emissions Test in Not, MO

Emissions Test in Not

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Not is about 1,291 km away. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What we arrange

Your request reaches a person, not a machine. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Car care, briefly

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
