From request to repair

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Small things that help

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

What to ask

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
