Emissions Test in Perris, CA

Arranging the work in Perris

If you need an emissions test in Perris: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

The steps

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Small things that help

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
