Emissions Test in Pierce, MO

Getting it done

For an emissions test in Pierce, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

What to ask

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Between shop visits

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Toronto based
