Emissions Test in Pinehurst Trace, GA

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Pinehurst Trace is about 1,172 km away. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How the arrangement works

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Good habits for your car

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
