Emissions Test in Points, WV

Emissions Test: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Points is about 483 km away. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How the request works

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Between shop visits

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

Talking to the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
