Our part and the shop's part

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

A short checklist

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Car care, briefly

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
