Emissions Test in Proctor, AR

Arranging the work in Proctor

For an emissions test in Proctor, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What we arrange

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Getting a clear quote

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Small things that help

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
