Emissions Test in Pumpkin, TX

Emissions Test in Pumpkin

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Pumpkin. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What to send us

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

What to ask

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
